Well, our weekend with Mahin has come and gone like a whirlwind, and what a fun one it was!
We are so grateful to Mahin for coming to share her knowledge and bubbly personality with us – every student at her workshops had a wonderful time, and the Hafla was an event to remember!
As our first ever event hosted in conjunction with our new studio space, we also can’t let a moment go by without thanking YOU, our followers, students, family, and friends who support our endeavors and make everything we do possible! We consider you all family and are grateful for all you do to help us do what we love every day.
Some fun info to keep in mind for the future:
Registration for our World Bellydance Day 2014 workshops with Lauren Boldt open at midnight tonight (Oct 20th)! Attendees at this weekend’s events got a chance to jump on the early bird rate with some special perks you won’t want to miss getting your hands on as well! Information about Lauren and our World Bellydance Day event, to be hosted May 8-10, will be posted on our Workshops and Haflas page as it develops.
Also, announced at our Hafla last night, Amy Danielson of the Gypsy Kiss will be joining us in October of 2014! Amy is a Tribal Fusion dancer from Wisconsin with a captivating flair for the fantastic and glamorous – we are beyond excited she’ll be joining us next year!
And of course, week to week we’ll be engaging in fun local activities open to the public as well – Saturday October 26th members of the Lovely Dozen Troupe will be performing dance and henna at the Grand Forks Women’s show, and Minnesota residents can also take in some Lovely Bellydancers at the TC Raks Friday night show Nov 1st in Minneapolis. November also marks the start of Troupe Member Ariana’s Masterclass on Dubstep Fusion. And so we keep on dancing! We have much to celebrate and dance for!
