Holiday Burlesque, Oh My!

Starting on December 8… Holiday Burlesque Masterclass!

Ever wanted to learn the art of burlesque, but were too scared? Madame Mercury is here to put your fears aside. She will be teaching a three part master class on the art of burlesque on Sundays in December at 4:30 p.m. Come and learn the basics of burlesque, including movements, combinations, getting comfortable in your skin and the element of the tease. Madame Mercury will show you how to release your inner bombshell! Don’t worry; this class is structured where you don’t have to strip. You can learn in a comfortable and safe environment. Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows full movement, and clothing type will be discussed in the first class to wear to remaining classes. It is recommended to bring water, since things can get a little hot and sizzling, and you might need to wet your whistle. The material in this class series is for mature audiences, therefore students must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Come and slip into a more ‘festive’ holiday spirit! 

Also starting on December 8 will be our monthly Drum Circle at 6 p.m., following the masterclass. We have various styles of drums in the studio, but if you have one please feel free to bring it with you. The Drum Circle doesn’t cost anything, but free will donations going toward our studio space are graciously welcomed. After December, every Drum Circle will be on the first Sunday of the month at 6 p.m., unless otherwise noted on our website and/or Facebook page.

yogaAs the holiday season approaches, we hope you take some time for yourself to relax and enjoy this wonderful time of year. What better way to relax and clear your mind than to dance! Come join us for our classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., Sundays at 4:30 p.m., and Yogafit on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at 9:30 a.m.!
