Bellylounge this Saturday!

Thank you SO much to everyone who made it out for our second Kids Day! We had a great time teaching the basics of Middle Eastern Dance, playing games, enjoying treats and getting henna! If you didn’t make this one, that’s ok, because we hope to make this a monthly event so stay tuned to the website for details about the next one! We will also be continuing our partnership with NDSB to hopefully make a more intensive teen workshop happen sometime soon!

Bellylounge! – Saturday, January 25th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Join us for a night of Middle Eastern Dance! Call the babysitter and make it a date night. Call your friends and hold your study group around one of our tables, all while enjoying an assortment of tea, coffee, and other treats while members of the Lovely Dozen Middle Eastern Dance Troupe perform professional quality 20-30 minute sets in the background! The first dancer will hit the floor at 7:15, so with 15 minute breaks between the sets, we hope to offer an average of 3-4 sets per night. Our goal is to create a casual atmosphere in which guests can relax, hang out or study, all while spicing up their usual date or study night with a little Bellydance! Admission is pay what you can, but our recommended cover amount for unlimited access to our treats, seats and performances is $5. We look forward to seeing you!

Donors can contribute via Paypal or you can sponsor a dancer or team by sending a message to lovelydozenbellydance@gmail.com or by liking us on Facebook and sending a comment with the name of the dancer/team you’d like to sponsor and number of dollars per shimmy minute or other conditional donation.
